The Annual Day celebration of Excellent School for the academic year 2025–26 was celebrated with great grandeur and enthusiasm.
The Chief Guest of the programme, Mr. Prashanth D’Souza, President of Bhuvana Jyothi Educational Institutions, appreciated the institution for functioning in a systematic and excellent manner, truly living up to the name Excellent. He highlighted the changing teaching methodologies brought about by the evolving CBSE curriculum and encouraged students to make the best use of these opportunities and achieve success in a way that would make their parents proud.
Mr. Diwakar Das, Managing Director of SLV Book Agency, Mysuru, emphasized that marks are not the only measure of success and that good values and character are what ultimately lead a person to the heights of life.
Mr. Shishir H. Shetty, an alumnus of Excellent CBSE School, expressed that joyful and engaging learning is more effective in helping students achieve success than learning under pressure.
Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Rashmitha Jain, Secretary of Excellent Institutions, stated that the continued support and encouragement of parents have been instrumental in helping Excellent Institutions progress steadily on the path of development.
The programme was presided over by Mr. Yuvaraj Jain, President of Excellent Institutions, who emphasized the importance of self-confidence in life. He encouraged students to focus on their possibilities rather than their limitations and to believe in their own potential.
The dignitaries inaugurated the programme by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Mr. Prasad, Principal of Excellent CBSE School, presented the Annual Report, highlighting the achievements and progress of the institution during the academic year.
On the occasion, the institution felicitated Mr. Prashanth D’Souza, Mr. Diwakar Das, Mr. M. Ganesh Kamath, and Mr. Shishir H. Shetty, an alumnus of Excellent CBSE School, who brought great pride to the institution by securing 99.96 percentile in JEE Main and achieving top ranks in JEE Advanced and COMEDK examinations.
The students who secured the highest marks in the CBSE Board Examination 2024–25, Ruchira Kunder and Anthiya Shaina Miranda, were also honoured for their outstanding academic performance. Certificates and awards were presented to students who excelled in various academic achievements.
Following the formal programme, the students presented a vibrant and colourful cultural programme, showcasing their talent, creativity and enthusiasm. The presence and encouragement of the parents added further grandeur to the celebration.
The programme was graced by Dr. B. P. Sampath Kumar, Administrative Director, Mr. Prasad, Principal, CBSE, alumnus Mr. Shishir H. Shetty, School Leader Shrikar, and School Leader Nireeksha, along with teachers, students and parents.
The programme was compered by Mrs. Harshitha, welcomed by Mrs. Vimala, CBSE Coordinator, and concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by student Nireeksha.
