The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Excellent CBSE School.Former Karnataka Minister Sri K. Abhayachandra Jain, the Chief Guest, hoisted the National Flag and said that while freedom fighters brought the light of independence, teachers are shaping the nation’s future through the light of knowledge. The Secretary of Excellent Group of Institution Mrs. Rashmitha Jain highlighted “Youth Power” as this year’s theme and urged students to embrace knowledge, discipline, patriotism and social responsibility to contribute to nation-building

The monthly magazine ‘Manorama’ was also released. Students presented patriotic songs, dances and other cultural programmes, adding colour to the celebration. The event was attended by Yuvraj Jain, Chairman of Excellent Institutions, Dr. B.P. Sampath Kumar, Administrative Director; Sriprasad, Principal of the CBSE School; and Tejaswi Bhat, Vice-Principal of Excellent PU College. Poorvi compered the programme, Charvi delivered the welcome address, and Aarav Kiran proposed the vote of thanks.
